A popular mode of transportation in the town is riding motorbikes, as well as taking gua guas, another term for buses. A must-see attraction is Altos de Chavon, a "village" that replicates 15th century colonial architecture. It features numerous restaurants, a museum housing Taino artifacts, and offers a breathtaking view of the Chavon River. This enchanting replica of an Italian village was constructed by a man as a gift for his daughter. Additionally, artists from Sinatra to Cocoband have performed at its large amphitheater.
